William B.
I had to sight my rifle in without site rite and when I put it back in it is way off from my scope
Joshua C W.
Meh. Good price. Don’t adjust well to the barrel. Contacted support without much help. It does work but be sure you use a barrel longer ghan 4” (and they say that) and the Holosun I have can’t see the laser. Just an fyi.
Jose F.
It was very easy to have my green dot accurate and ready to go
Donald O.
Waiting on new 17hmr got the scope and mounts and 2000 rounds just need rifle but it works great on my ar15
Steven A.
I am not 100 percent sold on this. It is very hard to insert into the barrel of the gun. Have not had a chance to try it out yet.

Order #262024
This item was advertised to be simple out of the box. Needless to say, it was simpler to put it BACK in the box than continue using it. The boresighter did not fit snug with my 9mm CZ p10c and left about an inch of “play”. I was using the provided screw driver to make 1/2 turns on the adapter to make it fit as well as possible. When i finally had it to where the bore end was almost too tight, the laser end was shaking all of the place. All in all, pretty cheap product, but hey the laser worked. Just remember, there is no on/off button so make sure to keep those small batteries handy.
Also, the customer service? I sent you all a direct email and failed to acknowledge the issue and simply wanted photos for proof of delivery? No mentioning of a refund or shipping instructions for my return as I clearly had asked for? What kind of bot is running your customer service accounts?
Just stay clear.
Joe
I ordered my bore sight September 29 and up to now I have not received my order yet I think this is a scam
PHELAN I.
I ordered The Site Right Boresighter because I was excited about my brand new AR-15 that came with a compensator. I used the attachments that you screw in to the end of the laser and stuck it into the end of the bore. When I was done adjusting and wanted to take a few groups of shots, The plastic attachment was stuck in the compensator that was pin and welded onto the bore. After a bit of time with much difficulty, it started to screw off, but the plastic mushroomed and now its really stuck in there. Luckily, I was able to somehow unscrew the laser body off, but the end attachment has been left behind in the compensator and I had to get it removed by a gunsmith. Terrible experience what happened. What made it worse was when I contacted customer support, and asked if I could get a new attachment, they just referred me to a page on the website where I can order a new one. I don't feel like they cared at all and seemed they don't support their product with an unwillingness to help me out. Geez. Will not be recommending anything from this company, or ordering anything else. Customer service sucks...
Jose R.
I got it to work good a little more instructions on how much to screw the tip is needed.
Brad B.
The Boresighter is well designed and a breeze to set up and use. The only thing keeping it from getting five stars is that I found it difficult to distinguish between the red laser and the red dot of my optic when zeroing it in. But, recognizing that could also be due to my aging eyes, I’ve also ordered the 2.0 version with the green laser to try that. Aside from that, it does what it was designed to do. Customer service has also been top notch with fast, professional, and helpful responses.
Lynn L.
It worked perfect for my new gun but it too long for my backup sub compact
Jason M.
Too long to properly fit snug in the barrel of my sig p365. Unless I’m doing something wrong.
Robert M.
Instructions do not address when using the boresighter on a .177 cal pellet rifle. The five included adapters begin with a .22 cal, I could only ‘assume” that one should use the boresighter without any adapters attached.
Jesse J.
Everything looks great but 1 of the batteries was dead when it reached me I haven't had the chance to use it on my piece yet but I look forward to it.
Stephen C.
My AR is being Cerakoted so I haven't had a chance to try this out but overall this boresighter seems like a nice product. My only suggestion would be a better battery system, maybe something rechargeable or something easier to install the battery cells. That's the only issue I see, but it looks like it will work fine for sighting my rifle.
John L.
Nice basic unit. Wish it was green laser instead of red. It also does not have an on/off switch so batteries have to be pulled after use. I would prefer green dot with a switchable unit instead of this unit.
Cory S.
Very happy with it so far. I wished there was a way to turn it off without removing the batteries and/or it was easier to remove the batteries (fat fingers and no finger nail). Otherwise, it did what it said it would.
jeff y.
Have not received the bore tips yet, hopefully they will be her soon, only problem is with the batteries as I have not figured out how they go into the slot and stay there, the instruction manual does not give a clear instructions.
Robert H.
Works well but when you buy the 12 adaptors you only get 8. The sight is suppose to come with 4 and you get a total of 12. This is a little misleading otherwise everything as advertise.
Steve W.
Quality seems pretty good but it’s almost impossible to get it centered and stay centered. It should come from the factory in a fixed position.
GLENN P.
Thought it had a .17 barrel adapter. It did not. Ordered the accessory kit. Will get back to you.
LONNIE A.
It works as advertised but laser would not turn off without taking batteries back out,
John V.
My bore sighter came with a red laser. I thought I ordered the green one, but that could have been my error. Anyways the laser on this thing is brighter than the cheap ones that are sold on Amazon. It was difficult at first to get the boresighter to be snug, but after figuring it out I had no further issues.
John J.
Really disappoint it didn’t fit my Glock 43x. Works great in my long guns though.
Michael E.
Fast shipping! Item is really nicely packaged for carrying in my range bag, and looks dead simple to use. I actually have yet to use it as I’m waiting on my optic to show up, but I’m sure I’ll be dialed-in and shredding paper in under a minute. Nicely priced too, got mine for $39.
Melvin R.
Looks good and easy to use
Randy G.
Not much instructions for me.
Matthew C.
Works well with zeroing in my 9mm optic; but when I attempted to zero my AR15 rifle reticle, the bore adaptor was still loose even when screwed in practically all the way and my muzzle device off the barrel.
Ramesh N.
The adapters are not so great quality...I tried one for my 22 handgun and the adapter got kind of squished when I tightened the screw. Other than that it is good.
Thanks,
Ramesh
Robert J.
I have an AR nine none of the adapters fit one was too big and the rest were too small. I was gonna return it, but I decided not to. I just gave it to my son-in-law who owns a bunch of A.R. 15s so you’re still gonna go to good use
Jonathan G.
It's good, but when I bought it I thought I was getting the newer version (2.0) and didn't realize it till a day went buy when I reread the name of it thinking it was the newest version, this one works well but doesn't fit the G26 model sadly, I tried with everything option for barrel size and still no tight fit just very loose
Daniel S.
Does not work with a short 3” barrel
Richard K.
Looks like a very good tool . I thought when I ordered it, it would come with .177 adapter but .22 is the smallest. I have a .177 pellet rifle that I need to sight in the scope. Thanks
Greg s.
I don't know if I am getting it set in the barrel right or not but the rifle was locked solid in a gun vice and I still couldn't get the scope zero'd in. After a few tries with no luck I decided to check the fitment of the bore sighter and spun it in the barrel. When I did this the laser dot made a circle on the target. That is why I think I am doing it wrong. I assumed it would center the fitment in the barrel by itself. I am going to try in some more and spin the sighter before centering the crosshairs of the scope only when the laser dot does not move on the target. Hope I can get it figured out.
Ronald C.
Wish it had a on/off button rather than having to rotate the battery to turn on/off.
John K.
Site Right Boresighter 2.0 appears to be well made and comes in a nice little box with all the pieces in a sponge foam padding in the custom box. An rudimentary instruction sheet was provided telling you where things went, but actual function left you feeling like you are 'hand-fitting' pieces together.
This bore sighter is similar to several that have been on the market for the last 15-years, except that it has no on-off switch, removing the batteries is the only way to turn it off. At $39.95 this tool costs more than the Allen Laser Bore Sighter that is $25.95 and has an On-Off switch.
When I saw this Bore Sighter on Elite Tactical I thought it was going to be innovative and the innovation part is you can 'center' the laser to the tool with allen wrench adjustments, other manufacturer's have their laser centered by machining the laser to fit centered. This one will work and do the job you need it to do, but it is not premium.

David B.
Still trying to figure out the adapters
Marvin W.
Tried it on my VP9 and a Shadow System’s MR920 it didn’t fit snugly in the barrel.
June F.
It was very difficult to fit into my Sig Sauer P365x. I was unsure of how far to try to fit it in the barrel. There were no clear instructions on how far it should go in the barrel. I finally gave up on trying to use it. Good concept but not very user friendly.
Timothy B.
Over I like the product. However would of preferred a on and off switch. Not really happy with having to pull the batteries to shut it off. The batteries are always falling out if your not careful. Over all a good product but could be made better with a on and off switch.
Garrett K.
Everything arrived as expected. Thé bore sight seems to be well made. I dislike the on, off battery capsule thing. It feels cheap and seems like it will wear out. I didn’t look at the newer version to see if they changed it, but it’s worth checking out. Otherwise, it is as advertised. I haven’t used it yet, but I am happy with my purchase.
Denis D.
Arrived. This bore site was exactly as advertised.
I haven't had a chance to try it out as yet due to adverse weather.
James P.
Bore site was exactly as advertised. Easy to assemble and use. Waiting to get to the range to confirm accuracy, but all looks good so far. Very happy with the site so far.
Chad M.
Haven't got to try it yet but everything sure looks good.
Donald B.
The 9mm bore fit is not snug at all.
The sight keeps slipping out.
Have to hold it in by hand to get somewhat of an alignment with the red dot.
Currently, I don't like this item unless you can fix the fit, I did not bother to try the others; most of my guns are 9mm.
Akeem T.
Awesome tool to sight with the adapters just dnt fit well all are just a bit to small and are loose in barrel
Ben H.
The bore sighter did not come with any meaningful instructions. For $49 bucks, I expected more. Additionally, the bore attachments had no markings on them indicating which caliber they were for. This would have been an easy and inexpensive fix and much appreciated by me or any other purchaser. Heck, there was not even a note on how to turn off the laser after I figured out how to turn it on. I am very, very disappointed with my purchase!
Doug B.
Wish I had been able to change my order to version 2.0. This one seems as if you have to remove the batteries to turn it off.
Chris F.
I was hoping it would work with my M P Shield 9 mm but it doesn’t have a tight fit, I guess the barrel isn’t long enough.
Dusty R.
I gave it 5 stars because I like the concept. However, I'm not having much luck sighting my weapons. The barrel of my 9mm pistol is too short. The Boresighter's mandrel goes through the barrel into the cartridge chamber, which nullifies the
accuracy of the Boresighter.
Secondly, it fits my 22 rifle perfectly. But I have self installed a 9×40 scope and cannot find the red dot in my view. I'm questioning my install at this point. But I still have confidence in the Boresighter!
Steven M.
Very easy to use. I like the 3 battery power level allows you to see the dot during daylight at 25 yds. We all know this is just a starting point for real down range accuracy but what a great starting point.
James C.
I ordered a green laser and got the red one which the red one you cannot see during the day what is the use of going to the range at night time.
jonathan h.
Seems tonworks fine, except not long enough to work with the break on some of my rifles.
Michael M.
Unfortunately, I want to use the product to site the optics on my air rifle, but the baffle system on the weapon is a problem. The boresight mechanism is not long enough to make it past the sound suppression system into the rifle barrel itself. In addition, the boresight stabilizer piece got hung up in the baffles and I had to remove the system to get it out. Also, the pictures on the instructions are blurry. I will have to figure out how to modify the boresight mechanism to fit the rifle system. any suggestions?
Brian D.
Im not sure of how many different model bore sighters you have available, but the one I received is different than what I thought I ordered? The one in the ad has an on &off switch and mine don’t? The one I received is also difficult to see in the daylight!
Keith D.
Not sure if I can give it five stars yet only because I have not had a chance to try using it.
Michael U.
It says on the website it comes with 12 adapters. Mine only came with five
Alan B.
The sites right bore sight tool was the exact tool needed to align both my red dot and laser pointer sights to the barrel of both my Walter PPD 9mm and Sig 9mm pistols. My "free hand," attempt at aligning my sights while not terrible where measurably inaccurate. Failing to properly align the sights resulted in less than acceptable shot grouping and chasing the bullseye. But no longer, my shot groups now reflect my skills as a Marine Corps 20 year consecutive pistol expert shooter. I recommend the site right bore sight alignment tool.
Andy P.
No Pic but got to Site. My AR15
Robert M.
Hard to see the laser light at 25 yds. Any tips? Waiting for better weather to use it.
Nic B.
It's not worth what they are charging. It's corner cutting cheap! You put the batteries in a sleeve and once you are able to put the sleeve in the main component laser it stays on until you take the batteries out! (no ON OFF SWITCH)
It works but very disappointed!!! for the money....
Steve C.
Is it normal that every time I take out and reinsert the foresighted the place where the dot aligns for the zero changes
glen r.
I was kind of disappointed due to the fact that the kit that I purchased didn’t include an adapter i needed for my 12gauge barrel. Apparently I have to purchase a different kit that has more adapters.
Larry S.
It appears to work as advertised. The only problem that I have encountered was the device was not centered for the dealer/manufacturer. That process had to be done by the consumer. If that persons eyesight is off, so will the result that you are trying to achieve. I hope that my eyesight is/was that good.
Jeff P.
Was surprised to find the batteries had to be reinstalled before use and taken out after each use without an on/off switch on the bore sight. Also the packaging is inferior, a nicer case would have been nice for the money.
Daniel C.
Awesome will send video when I test ot out
Gage M.
Works fine
Only change is an on off switch. If there is one I can’t find it.
Thomas H.
Doesn't work. At all. Although it fits the barrel tightly it was not calibrated even close to well, terrible product
Guy S.
Not a good tool for pistols. Considering some of the most common pistols on the market are Smith & Wesson MPs, and Sig 365, the attachments didn’t fit either of them. The attachment for 9mm needs to be slightly bigger, and this will not work in short barrel pistols as well. It really should be advertised so that we are not fooled into buying this. I would not recommend this for people that want to site their dots on their pistols that carry 9 mm.
Jose A.
I think this is the best way to sight your red dots fast and simple. Most of all accurate!!
John D.
I really like the bore sight I can use it for my 556 my 9mm and my 300win mag so I’m really loving it
Timothy P.
I ordered this as I have a S and W ve 40 and none of the adaptors fit for a snug fit in the barrel. Might be sensor it back
Jimmy J.
Just got it a few days ago. Haven’t used it yet.
David L.
Great value for the price. The instructions could be a bit clearer.
John B.
I couldn’t find the cap over the battery that had the on and off switch. Kind of disappointed and would not recommend the product
Jerry R.
So far, I love it. It's easy enough, the only thing that bugs me is the battery container, that's cheesy, no on or off switch makes it a bit harder.
Joseph W.
Red dot seams strong. Assembles and disassembles easily. Not thrilled with the plastic inserts that fit down the barrel. Not user friendly.
Alejandro R.
I have an aftermarket barrel on my Glock 19 (Gen 5). I figured since it is still a 9mm I wouldn't have an issue with the fitment with boresigther. From my understanding it should fit snug, which mine unfortunately doesn’t.
David H.
It is a nice tool but it needs a hard sided carry case to protect it.
Geoffrey C.
Easy to use I wish it had an off/on switch. But it gets you on paper quick.
Thomas N.
Received on time. Exactly as advertised and works well.
Eric Y.
Boresights works really good. A little tough using with a compact 9mm. Difficult to tighten
RICKY J.
I've used this sight tool many times and it makes sighting in your firearm extremely easy. So much so I bought one for a friend of mine who us a av I d hunter. It deserves a 5 star but I gave it a 4 for one reason. That is that it would be much better if there was an on/off switch instead of having to load the batteries each time you use the boresight. That's my only issue. Just a design improvement that would benefit the user.
William M.
Came promptly and well packaged. All parts were very neatly arranged in the foam box. I have yet to actually use it for its intended purpose but did place it in a firearm to check functionality of product. Fit great. Instructions very clear. Looking forward in the future to using this product.
Ron R.
Have not got to use it just yet neg degree out side.
Took out of box and it is very nice. Laser is very strong nice workmanship.
Just waiting for good weather.
Mark W.
Have not used it yet.
AARON M.
DISREGARD my first review. It WAS stated that the minimum length of the barrel should be 4 inches. It was MY ERROR. GREAT PRODUCT!!!
AARON M.
Very useful and worthwhile addition for making your firearms more accurate. Would be helpful if they advertised that it is NOT suited for barrels UNDER 4 INCHES LONG.
Ken T.
It arrived in a few days and was more than I expected it to be coming out of the box.
It is an amazing product. I bore sighted my 2 rifles and I will finalize it with a few grouping shots!!
Harry K.
I have had no luck with the site. every time I take it out and fire the site is in a different place than where it was a minute ago. I'm using a .177 air rifle I'll try it again later but I not expecting anything to change. I hope it works out
Harry
Tyler
Nice quality product and packaging and fast shipping! Would have given the 5th star if you’d list somewhere in the description that it is too long to work with shorter barrel pistols. Maybe consider making a “mini” version or perhaps a threaded removable center section to make it adaptable to many different barrel lengths. But overall I’m pleased with it for my other tools
James W.
Just What I needed. Already saved me Big Time. Have used it to bore site 4 rifles already, Scopes, Red dot, Iron sites and a Lasser. This product is a MUST have! I've used the old style bore siter, and the laser pointer that fits in the chamber for years. Anyone who knows, knows these systems are not AR friendly. The Tactical Elite system is soooo much better, saves time, ammo and headaches. I Am Very Satisfied And Recommend This To Anyone. Thank You, You All Rock!
Beck o.
Product is a total no brainer, all of my friends are willing to buy one. The only reason they haven’t, is the fitting system is a bit unpredictable. SUPER tight, perfect fit in some barrels, but switch to a different rifle of the same caliber, and the boresighter becomes loose and obsolete. If y’all could find a way to put a foam or a different fitting mechanism around the tip and make it more consistent, I would be sending a lot more referrals your way. Not complaining, just feedback. I always carry it with me, it’s great.
Scott S.
Love the laser! Works well on many rifles and pistols but won’t work on all compact pistols, requires a long enough barrel to tighten bore adaptor snug! Something to consider.
Samuel N.
The sight works as advertised. But, it's never a completely snug fit and you never feel confident with the laser's position. The way the device turns on it outright stupid. Just use a small switch or button. Why is the only way to turn it off taking out the batteries.
Madd J.
I've used cheesy amazon LBS before and will say this one is a BIT better than those, but nothing super ground breaking.
Zeroed my optic at 25 yards with this LBS, but shots were still wildly right and 3 inches up on paper.
David R.
I haven’t bought this yet why are you asking for a review?
Chris C.
No on off switch is stupid. The battery pack is also stupid. Not elite, average. It is as advertised. Wish i knew how jankey the batteries were gonna be.
Marshall H.
Worked really well on almost all of my guns. The only one it didn't seem to work on was my Beretta FS 92. I had put a holographic sight on the top and for some reason I could not get it to adjust to the target. Everything else worked great. I have used it on my ,308, 7.62x39, AR-15, Walther 9mm, and Walther .22, along with a few others. I have not tried it on a 12 ga. but let's face it, it's hard to miss with a shotgun.
