Wow! I was expecting something like what you'd find at a surplus store. This is much more solid and more compact and has more uses. While not why I originally wanted it, this is something I can take backpacking and will add to my abilities on the trail! The serrated edge will cut wood and the pick will be awesome for rockhounding. The handle and blade are solid and screw together so for backpacking i can take a length out and make it significantly lighter while maintaining strength.

I was looking for a folding shovel for my kids to bring to camping trip. Regular shovel just too big to carry around. I like the knife which has teeth and fork end making it more useful than regular knife. It also comes with screw driver bits, which most other shovel don't have. The shovel itself also has teeth on the side that you can use it to saw off tree branches. This shovel comes with a nice pouch and shoulder strap that makes this easy to carry around while on hiking trails. Overall, I like this survival shovel a lot and I strongly recommend this shovel.

I needed a small shovel and pick to move some dirt around in a crawl space with limited head room; this folding shovel fit the bill perfectly. There are three different positions for this tool: shovel, scraper, pick. It has been used extensively in a dirt/rock substrate and held up very well. I drive a lot for work to from various work sites in all kinds of weather. I wanted something that i could store in a small place just in case. I have had to dig myself out a few times so this was a great addition. Actually moved this over to 4x4 rig that I use for Overlanding. So far only use it for sawing small branches and digging a few holes to plant trees. So far so good.

It works great in the garden and that's probably where it'll be used the most. This company has a nice, light, portable, foldable camping shovel which I also own and use while camping so this little trowel will be my dedicated garden companion.
The saw actually works great as well as the nail puller. It's very sturdy and I really like the ruler on it. Very handy. I'd definitely recommend it to someone who uses a trowel frequently.

This is the standard the entrenching tool should meet. Extremely compact probably the perfect size for portability. Not anymore noticeable to carry than a mag pouch. About 1/2 as much mass to carry as standard G.I. issue with pouch.

This is the best entrenching tool for the price, period!. It is extremely tough, very well made, and is designed to serve many purposes. I have purchased three in total, one to attach to my bug out bag, one to use around the house, and one stays in my Jeep to use in case of an emergency. I have tested these out quite extensively, so I speak from experience when I attest to their durability. Buy one, you will NOT be disappointed!!

Exactly as described. This is a perfect utility tool. I put it together in 5 minutes. I tested all the components and lubricated all the threads and exposed metal. This will be stored in my Jeep Rubicon for emergencies and beach excursions.

I was pleasantly surprised by this compact folding shovel. I just returned from a camping trip and this shovel proved to be quite the handy camping tool! It features a serated blade on the side of the shovel blade itself, and has a variety of small tools stashed inside of the handle. Flat and Phillips screwdriver, can opener, small saw blade, small straight blade, a distress whistle and even a tip designed to break auto glass when needed. The handle breaks down into 3 different parts and can be interchanged for various needs. (shorter handle etc.) The shovel can also be locked into a 90 degree position to double as a hoe.
While it's a great camping shovel etc, just know that it is a bit heavy if you are wanting to use it for a backpacking trip. The weight isn't a bad thing as it seems to be super sturdy.

Great little shovel! I got this thing to use as a hunting tool and I now just leave it in my car as a universal tool for emergencies. My only complaint is with the serrated edge that it was impossible to cut through a 2" branch.
I flipped it around and used it as an axe and made sorry work if the branch. The steel in the shovel blade seems heavy duty and should last a long time. Notice, this thing is sharp and should not be used by small children.
The caring pouch is wonderful and I always keep it stored in there unless I am using it. Overall the build quality is good and send very rugged. Great tool to have handy!

While building out an emergency kit and bug out bag for the car I wanted a compact and versatile shovel and multi-tool. With this Folding Shovel, I found a great small shovel and includes a lot of capabilities! This shovel includes two cutting edges, two saws, a flint (for fire starting), tiny compass, emergency whistle, and much more. The aluminum handle breaks down into three different parts, which can be interchanged for various purposes. You can also lock the shovel head 90 degrees to use it as a hoe. Overall build quality is good and the shovel seems very rugged and durable. This is a great tool to have in your car in case of emergencies or to pack with your camping gear.

This is the greatest compact shovel I have ever seen! Dig a hole in the ground, No Problem. Whack a zombie in the head, No Problem, the blade is sharpened. I just received my shovel last week and attempting to find out all the wonder things it can do. The one thing it can not do is fold. This is a non-folding shovel. I am attaching my shovel to the outside of my backpack, on the opposite side from my tomahawk. Now I have tools on both sides of the pack. Happy Digging!

I love this thing. Beyond the cool, aggressive styling, this shovel actually does what it is intended to do and more. No struggles with tough ground, roots, or hard clay. I used this to dig a trench around my tent prior to an all night rainstorm. The soil was Missouri Ozark rock dirt..,,this shovel mowed right through it!
